- 1936 Crooner Bing Crosby announced plans to construct a new racetrack, to be called the Del Mar Turf Club.
WHAT WE DO.
The mission of the NTRA is to increase the popularity, welfare and integrity of Thoroughbred racing through consensus-based leadership, legislative advocacy, safety and integrity initiatives, fan engagement and corporate partner development.
